Barbara Gotthelf, J.D., is a partner in the Philadelphia office of McCarter &  English, LLP.  She practices in the firm’s Products Liability group in state and federal courts in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.  Barbara’s practice is focused on general litigation with an emphasis on the defense of claims against pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers.  Barbara has defended claims involving such products as synthetic hormones, opioid analgesics, contraceptives, durable medical equipment, and diagnostic and therapeutic medical devices.  She has defended individual cases and served on national, regional, and “virtual” trial teams.
