Medmarc recently had the honor of sponsoring the virtual MedTech Conference powered by AdvaMed. Our team participated in the Solutions Showcase during which George Ayd and Lynn Carney gave a presentation to start-up companies on how to insure their clinical trials, both domestically and internationally.

This short presentation provides companies planning clinical trials outside the United States with useful information concerning unexpected delays, challenges and costs. Often
times these companies do not consider clinical trials insurance in their planning. This can lead to surprises concerning the requirements of non-United States based local Ethics Committees. As a result many companies miss their submission dates to the local Ethics Committees which can cause unnecessary delays, costs, and other challenges.
