Ethical conduct is critical in all business operations, but especially so in industries like life sciences, where health and safety are at stake. Codes of ethics can serve as a statement to outside stakeholders and policymakers about the types of behavior and business practices that an industry views as reasonable. This webinar will feature AdvaMed Vice President & Assistant General Counsel, Matt Wetzel, who will provide an in-depth look at the impact and necessity of industry codes of ethics – like the AdvaMed Code.
Participants can expect to learn:
• Why codes play an important role in shaping the standards and principles that companies consider to be appropriate and ethical;
• How following an industry code can assist medical device companies and entire industries compete on a level playing field; and
• How codes around the world are changing, and some recent shifts that may impact medical device companies.
